Mona Prejean, 52, of Orange passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Beaumont.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 25, 2011 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Officiating will be Reverend Joseph P. Daleo.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Mona was born April 15, 1959, in Orange to Donald P. and Audrey M. Mott Brown. She was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald P. Brown and brother, Ronald ?Boo-Boo? Brown.

Those left to cherish her are her husband, Johnny Prejean of Orange; mother, Audrey Brown of Mauriceville; daughter and son-in-law, Jerica and Chase Longmire of Orange; granddaughter, Raylynn Longmire of Orange and brothers, Steve Brown of Mauriceville, Joe Brown of Jasper and Allan Brown of Little Cypress.

Serving as pallbearers are Chase Longmire, Jimmy Jackson, Bubba Brown, Raymond Brown, Bobby Payne and Randy Block.

Honorary pallbearers are Frank Cormeans, Brice Prejean and Apollo Prejean.
