Nancy Beth Stoffer

Nancy Beth Stoffer, 56, of Orange, died Monday, November 9, 2009 at her residence.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend David Millner of Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Nancy was born on July 10, 1953, in Orange, Texas. She was the daughter of George Louis Stoffer and Agatha "Sis" Nunez Stoffer.

Nancy worked as a file clerk at Orange Savings Bank for 28 years. She loved her nieces very much, along with her two cats Vincent and Pepper. Nancy's favorite vacations were those to the beaches of Gulf Shores during the summer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sis Stoffer.

Nancy is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Mike Green of Orange; very special nieces, Jillian and Kendall Green both of Orange; aunt and uncle, Norma and John Nunez of Spring, Texas; aunt, Betty Fuller of Abbeville, Louisiana; and numerous other loving family members.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Nancy's friends and coworkers at Orange Savings Bank, many of whom were like family. The family is especially grateful to her neighbors, Shirley Dickerson, Ted and Stephanie Legget, and her caregivers, Shirley Harvey and Vicky Green.

So very sorry for your loss. I know you will all miss her very much. We cousins will all miss her too and remember all the great times we had especially at the country club pool whenever we got to come and visit.
