I just saw this post on Facebook. I am devastated! Nancy and I were first "best friends" when she was 3 and I was 2. We lived next door to her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Estes. Mrs. Estes babysat Nancy and we played together every day until we moved when I was about 4. We stayed in contact all the way through high school, visiting and spending the night with each other. After high school, we drifted apart physically, but our hearts were always together. When FB became popular, we contacted each other again. We always planned to get together, but, as usual, time, family, commitments, etc. caused delays. I now know that the delays cost us reuniting. I am terribly sad. Nancy was always a best friend even through the years and miles. I will always treasure our memories. I loved her then and I love her now and forever. My prayers are with Betty, Betsy, her daughters, and her husband. We all know that Nancy is singing in the heavenly choir at this moment.
