Nandell Berry Jones

Nandell Berry Jones, 71, of Winnie, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at Christus St. Mary Hospital, Port Arthur.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Tim Quinn of Bethel Baptist Church of Livingston and Reverend Damon Bickham of First Baptist Church of Deweyville.

Burial will follow at King Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Nandell was born on June 15, 1935, in Buna. She was the daughter of Benjamin C. and Lillie Mae Denmon. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a wonderful friend to all who knew her.

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Denmon; first husband of 36 years,

Julian Monroe Berry, Sr. and second husband, Eldon Doc Jones.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Williams and Damon of Vidor, Ann Douga and LeeRoy of Gatesville, Minnie Teal of Vidor, and Kathy Quinn and Tim of Livingston; sons and daughters-in-law, Monroe Berry and Jeannette of Deweyville, John Berry and Joyce of Deweyville, Craig Berry and Patricia of Hamshire, four stepchildren, Lewanna, Wynona, Randy, and Duane Jones. Nandell had nineteen grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Delano of Orange, brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Denmon and Ruby of Orange, and Bob Denmon and Barbara of Vidor.

Serving as pallbearers are Tommie Wilkerson, Dustin Berry, Robert Berry, Ross Teal II, David Sonnier, and Randy Quinn.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Dean Arrant, Shane Douga, and Wesley Quinn.
