Nelda Jean Chandler Willis (Muth), 75, of Beaumont, passed away on April 22, 2017, in Beaumont.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Beaumont. Cremation will follow and is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.

Born in Cleveland, Texas, on November 16, 1941, she was the daughter of Joe Nixon and Ila Ray Nixon. Jean was a former realtor and a lifelong resident of Beaumont.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ray Nixon.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Willis; children, Sharron Chandler, Janet Chandler, and Julie Salter, all of Beaumont; ten grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Louise Kornagay of Ivanhoe.
