OBITUARY Nina Gail Bridges

Funeral services for Nina Gail Bridges, 74, of Beaumont will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel in Beaumont. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Reverend Ralph Burrage and Reverend Bill Morgan. Interment will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Nina was born September 20, 1937 in Gonzales, Texas to Henry and Pauline Buelter and went to be with her Lord on October 28, 2011. She had resided in Beaumont since 1984 and was a former resident of Corpus Christi.

Nina was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother who delighted in the lives of her grandchildren. Born of German heritage, she was strong in her convictions, hardworking and conservative.

Most importantly, Nina was a faithful, God fearing, Christian woman who possessed a servant?s heart. She worked tirelessly serving behind the scenes in so many church projects and ministries including numerous mission trip to Tanzania, Africa and Macau, China. Serving her Lord and loving her family brought her great joy and peace.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry E. Bridges of Beaumont; daughter and son-in-law, Karen Ann and Donald Farr of Madison, Alabama; sons, John Stuart Bridges of Dalhart, Texas and Mark Andrew Bridges and wife, Rachael, of Denham Springs, Louisiana; grandchildren, Ashley Marie Farr, Shannon Christine Farr, Luke Austin Bridges, Cailyn Grace Bridges, Seth Andrew Bridges, Hannah Joy Bridges and Matthew Wayne Bridges.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leroy and Harlan Buelter.

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. We fondly remember Nina when we were members at Parkdale Baptist Church.
