Parker Thompson

Constable Parker ?P.T.? Thompson, 59, of Orange, died, Sunday, September 2, 2007, at DuBuis Hospital in Port Arthur.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 6, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Pastor David Milner of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate.

Interment will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Mr. Thompson was born April 14, 1948, in Lorraine, TX to Parker Lane Thompson and Arlene Summers Thompson.

Mr. Thompson had previously resided in Abilene. He served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He served as Constable for three consecutive terms of Precinct 2 in Orange.

He was on the Pinehurst Police Department for 15 years as an officer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Parker

Lane Thompson.

He is survived by his parents, Arlene and Howard Johnston; daughters, Jennifer Lynne Nichols and Leslie Danelle Thompson, both of Orange; grandchildren, Marissa Dunmon Thompson and Jaelyn Nichols; brothers, Donald Thompson and wife Gladys of Tyler, Harold Dean Thompson and sister Dorothy ?Dot? Hudson and husband Richard, all of Orange; nephews Richard Hudson, Jr., Brian S. Hudson and Russell Thompson.
