Ardsley, NY: Patricia Jo Wilson Fairchild, 70, formerly of Amarillo, Texas, died in New York Friday, October 12.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Louise Wilson of Orange, Texas. She is survived by her husband Louis Fairchild and daughters Amy Fairchild Carrino and husband Gerard; Susan Fairchild; and Mia Elliott and husband Benjamin.

She is also survived by four grandchildren: Max, Georgia, Clay, and Aaron.

A first-grade teacher in Texas for twenty-eight years, she taught in Fort Worth, Pasadena, and Amarillo.

The family will receive friends at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange on Wednesday, October 24, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Orange on Thursday, October 25, at 10:00 a.m.

The family suggests memorials be made to Opportunity School in Amarillo or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
