Patrick Allen Fuselier, 65, of Groves, Texas passed away November 26, 2015. A service celebrating Pat’s life will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Claybar Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Burial will follow at 2:15 p.m. in the Houston National Cemetery.
Patrick was born September 8, 1950 in Port Arthur, Texas to Allen Joseph Fuselier and Versie Mae Touchet Fuselier.
Surviving Patrick are his wife, Mary, Fuselier; daughter, Lettie Hall, grandchildren, Alvin McGowan, Austin Hall and Rayanne Hall; brothers, Kenneth and David Fuselier and sisters, Diane Riley and Irma Gail and his loyal companion, Max. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Darrell and Mike Fuselier.
There are many words that would be used to describe Patrick, “fun”, “loving”, “joker”, and “lover of barbecue”, because he was excellent at the barbecue pit. But two special words would also describe him, “veteran and patriot”. Patrick was a Vietnam veteran who was a Purple Heart recipient.
He will be missed and loved by many.
