Patsy Jo Weaver

Patsy Jo Weaver, 73, of Mauriceville, died Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend David Berkheimer of Community Church in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Born in Longview, Texas on April 6, 1937, Patsy was the daughter of Joe Walker and Elma Tereasa Speight. Patsy was a 1955 graduate of Negreet High School in Negreet, Louisiana. She worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company until she married and had 7 children. She owned various stores and restaurants throughout her life. Patsy was a talented seamstress and an amazing cook. She retired and moved to Mauriceville in 2003.

Preceded in death by her husband, SGT. J.D. Weaver; daughter, Barbara A. Habisreitinger; and grandson, Jimmy D. Weaver.

Patsy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley D. and Kathy Weaver, Michel E. and Jude Weaver, Bruce W. and Vicki Weaver, Kelly L. and Terri Weaver, Christopher T. and Brandy Weaver; and daughter, Elizabeth D. Weaver.

She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters; and two brothers.
