Paul Warren LeBoeuf

Paul Warren LeBoeuf, 64, of Vinton, Louisiana, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, September 15, 2008, in Memphis, TN.

Paul was born in Orange, Texas on April 21, 1944, and attended school in the Cove of Orange. He served with the U.S. Army in the early 60's. He had been employed with Bethlehem Steel, Beaumont for 15 years and Lamar State College, Orange. He retired from Lamar in January 2007 after being employed there for 18 years. He loved music and was a skilled saxophone player as well as a French harp player. He had a great love of music from the 50's and 60's and had many recordings of all the favorites from that era. He loved to share them with friends and family. He also had a studio in his home for recording gospel music, which was his passion. He was a motorcycle rider for many years and enjoyed riding to the fullest with family and friends. He especially loved riding in the hills of Texas near Kerrville.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Jo LeBoeuf of Vinton, LA, two sons and their wives, Duane and Maurine LeBoeuf of Groves and Kevin and Katie LeBoeuf of Orange. He is also survived by two stepdaughters who loved him very much, Cathy Cozart of Vidor and Pam Adams of Kountze. Also surviving him are Patsy LeBoeuf of Orange, the mother of his sons, 4 grandchildren, Kayla LeBoeuf Brown of Orange, Britney LeBoeuf Sanford of Orange, Andrew and Adam LeBoeuf of Groves and three great granddaughters. He also leaves many friends and extended family who adored him. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, A. J. and Gladys LeBoeuf, a brother, Roland and his beloved son Trent.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 27, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the North Orange United Pentecostal Church, with burial to follow at the Autumn Oaks Cemetery, Orange. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, September 26, 2008 at the North Orange United Pentecostal Church beginning at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. The church is located on Highway 87 in Orange, 2.6 miles north of IH 10.

Serving as pallbearers are: Dave Leas, Tom Brown, Robert Brown, Troy McQue, Roy McQue and Ryan Brown. Serving as honorary pallbearers are all members of the Vidor Glory Church of God, All staff of Lamar College, Orange, Nelson and Betty Derrick, Harold and Marlene Ivie, Shelton Brown and Gaylon Williams.

Services are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home Orange Texas.
