Pauline Lois Nipert

Pauline Lois Nipert 92, of Orange, Texas, passed away Wednesday June 10, 2009, at Promise Hospital in Nederland, Texas.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Margaret Desmond.

Cremation to follow under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory in Beaumont.

Visitation will be at 1:00 pm, Sunday, at the funeral home.

Pauline was born on July 8, 1916, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was the daughter of William and Ethel Osborn Christie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; William Frederick Nipert and son; James C. Nipert. Pauline was a former member of Orange Community Bridge League. She also loved cooking and shopping.

She is survived by her children, Billie Kay Rogers and Timmie Sue Page both of Orange; grandchildren, Bart Nipert, Nancy Lamere, Angela Schultz, Natalie Scott, Jeffery Page; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Grandma was amazing. I have great memories of her chocolate meringue pie from scratch. I loved her special k bars. I loved that she took time to teach me how to cook.
