Peggy Jo (Choate) Savoy, 73, of Vidor, Texas passed away April 29, 2016 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. Peggy was born December 7, 1946 in Beaumont, Texas to Chester and Bertie Mae (Revia) Choate. She was a retired custodian from a local school district.

Surviving Peggy are her children, Randy Savoy, Debra Corzine, Geneva Kingman, Charles Savoy and Ralph Savoy. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and her sisters, Linda McDowell, Pat Horn, Mary Perez and Joyce Layfield. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Savoy and her son, Jimmy Savoy.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Monday, May 2, 2016 from 5pm – 7pm at Claybar Funeral Home Beaumont. A celebration of her life will follow Tuesday May 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, Texas
