Randy Hubbard

Randy Hubbard, 54, a life long resident of Orange, West Orange area. He died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at his residence in West Orange, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 pm, Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Jeff Bell of Calvary Baptist of Pt. Acres. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation was held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.

Randy was born on November 18, 1954 in Orange, Texas, the son of Harold Ray Hubbard and Mary Joretta Smith Hubbard.

Randy was a loving father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He enjoyed being with his family, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish is memory are son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Lacresia Hubbard, Jr. of Fort Riley, Kansas; daughters, Misty Duhon of Orange and Tiffany Cole of Akron, Ohio; grandchildren, Randy M. Hubbard, Alyssa Duhon, Brandon Hubbard, Sean Apollonio, Kayleigh Cole, Laura Hubbard, Baylee Duhon and Gavin Cole; brothers, Jimmy Hubbard and his wife Oma Jean of Orange and Thomas Hubbard of Orange; niece and nephews, Willy Hubbard, Gideon Hubbard and Brandy Foreman.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Willy Hubbard, Gideon Hubbard, Patrick Foreman, Lester Buxton, Robert Smith and Charles Smith.

I only worked a short time with Randy, but there are always certain people that really become our friends in life. He never met a stranger and I never heard him say a harsh word.
