Raphael Michael DeMartino, 89, of Beaumont, passed away on June 21, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 24, 2021, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Beaumont. Officiating will be Father Steve Leger. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Due to the Chapel being under construction at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home visitation will be held at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2021, with a rosary starting at 6:30 p.m., at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, on March 3, 1932, he was the son of Raphael Joseph DeMartino and Anna Maire DeMartino (Sammarod). Ray served his country bravely for 22 years in the Air Force, retiring from Honeywell. He was very active at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, volunteering anytime that he could. Ray was always wanting to serve and help others. He was a caring father, grandfather, and friend. Ray will be deeply missed by all those who had pleasure to meet know and love him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raphael and Anna DeMartino; loving wife, Mary Ann DeMartino; and brother.

He is survived by his sons, Don DeMartino and wife Rebecca, of Lumberton, David DeMartino and wife Linda, of West Milford; grandchildren, Devin Riseman and husband Nick, Taylor DeMartino and spouse Korey, Daniel DeMartino, Joseph DeMartino, and Michelle DeMartino.
