Rebecca “Becki” Diane Keene
Becki Keene, 67, of Lumberton, Texas, passed away on February 13, 2025 at Harbor Hospice after a short battle with lung cancer.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Born in Pasadena, Texas, on February 25, 1957, she was the daughter of Robert Carlos and Jackie Graham. Before all else, Becki took great pride in her family, especially her children Shawna and Cody, and embraced all her children’s friends as her own. Becki was the embodiment of fun and friendship. Always the first to arrive at gatherings, her laughter resonated through the air, drawing people into her orbit. A devoted friend, she cherished the connections she made, and her unwavering support illuminated the paths of many. Becki had an unmistakable flair for life; she embraced her passions with open arms, whether it was indulging in a shopping spree, celebrating holidays with gusto, or simply relishing precious moments spent with her beloved grandkids. Becki's adventurous spirit often found her enjoying the thrill of rides on Blake's bike, relishing the freedom of the wind in her hair. She was not just a girly girl, but a beacon of strength and joy, a great friend whose presence radiated positivity. Her love for life was a testament to her character, making her the center of gatherings and the heart of every celebration. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched, reminding us of the beauty of friendship and the joy of living life to the fullest. Becki will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever dance in our memories.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; and the fathers of her children, Tom Keene and Johnny Marshall.
She is survived by her daughter, Shawna Vincent & husband, Michael; son, Cody Keene & girlfriend, Nikki; step-daughter, Stacy McKelvey & husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Kamri McClelland & husband Ryan, and Kori Rushing; great-grandchildren, Kayson, Kayne, and Ross; siblings, Kathy Boone & husband, John, Robert Carlos & wife, Tami, Ronnie Carlos & wife, Kimberly; and Steven “Randy” Carlos; beloved friend, Blake Hawkins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews that she enjoyed so much.
The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to Kathy and John Boone for being Becki’s caregivers over these last few months.
