Reverend David N. Mims, 78, of Buna passed away April 11, 2012 in Beaumont.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

Reverend Mims was born November 2, 1933 to David and Idell Shipp Mims in Pensacola, Florida. He has been a minister since he was 16 years old.

Reverend Mims is preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Mims; children, Kevin Chance and his wife, Patricia, Tricia Saunders and husband, Jim, Tina Newcomb and Treena Robinson and husband, Jimmy; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and cousins.
