Rezie M Atkinson - Labrie-Claybar

Rezie M. Atkinson, 92, of Lumberton, passed away at Harbor Hospice on Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Mrs. Atkinson was a native of Jamestown, TX and had lived in Lumberton for 42 years. She was employed at the White House Department Store for 42 years.

She is survived by her husband James C. Atkinson of Lumberton; son, Carter E. Atkinson of Fairmount, sister, I?Marie Gardner of Albuquerque, NM; and grandchildren Dana Austin of Nederland and Robert Atkinson of Groves.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 8, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. in the Lumberton Church of Christ with interment at 3:00 p.m. in the Fairmount Cemetery. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Sunday between 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

I got to know Mrs. Rezie from working at The White House, though I did not work with Mrs. Rezie, she and another co-worker would come and visit with other employees and shopped.
