A memorial service celebrating the life of Richard P. ?Dick? Robinson, 76, of Beaumont will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with Reverend John Bedingfield, of St John?s Episcopal Church in Silsbee, officiating.

Dick was born August 13, 1931 in Biddeford, MN and died October 26, 2007 at his residence surrounded by family and friends. He graduated from Manchester High School in NH in 1948. He attended the University of New Hampshire where he received a BS degree in 1951 and was a member of the ski team.

He was a corporal in the US Army from July 8, 1952 to June 16, 1952 and was a veteran of the Korean War. In 1977, Dick moved to Texas. He was an all lines insurance adjuster and president and partner of Insurance Claims of the South, Inc. in Beaumont, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Portia Robinson. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Robinson of Beaumont; daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Roy Wood of Lumberton, Janice and John Thibodeaux of Manchester, NH; son, Tommy Robinson of Manchester, NH; four grandchildren, Regan Kitcher of Lumberton, Cody and Casey Wood of Kemp, TX, and Laurie Thibodeaux of Manchester, NH; sisters, Mary Smith and Helen Akerly of Manchester, NH; and a host of other family members and friends.

The family would like to thank the following for their exceptional care and support: business partners, Barbara Boss and Dottie Schneider; Providence Care; Walsons, Inc.; Dr. Timothy Colgan and staff; Dr. Santos Soberon and staff; Rhonda McNeel; Kelley Johnston; Joe Smart and the staff at Walgreens Drug Store on Calder. You all worked so hard to make life better for Dick and helped us to cope during the hardest time of our lives.

Dick and I had a professional relationship that spanned decades. I always enjoyed working with Dick because he was a true professional and knew the insurance business well. Much too hard-headed to ever lose his accent, I looked forward to visiting with ##imported-begin##Ken Campbell##imported-end##
