Robert Bob Neely

Robert Bob Neely, 66, of Silsbee, died Friday, March 20, 2009 at the Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2009 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.

Bob was born July 2, 1942 in Center, TX. He is the son of Fred and Dorothy Adams Neely. He was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous and loud member of SASBA Bowling Association. He was on the senior bowling tour for ten years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Palina Joy Neely, Blake Ubias, and Patti Settle and sister, Wilma Grant.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Neely of Silsbee; Sons, Bobby Neely of Baytown, Paul Neely and wife, Barbara of Pasadena, Jerry Neely of Bryan, and Anthony Ubias of Central Texas; step-sons, Michael Berry of Spring, and Stephen Berry and wife, Laura of Huffman; step-daughter, Terri Fancher and husband Phil of Kirbyville; sixteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Fred Neely of Tomball, James Neely of Beaumont, and Frank Neely of Pasadena; sisters, Peggy Cook of Somerville, and Dotty Burke of Somerville; and numerous other relatives and friends.

We will trudge the road of happy destiny-until we meet again.
