Robert D. Bullard, 86, died on November 26, 2008. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 4, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Reverend Anita Green of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Bridge City will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the

Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Mr. Bullard was a Postmaster and served the U.S. Postal Service for 36 years. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bridge City and the Bridge City Masonic Lodge 1345.

He was born on October 11, 1922, to George and Ruth Wood Bullard. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 65 years, Fran, and his daughter, Anne Broussard. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Bullard of Seattle, WA and two nephews, Robert Bullard and Richard Bullard.
