Robert Louis Johnson, 63, was born November 21, 1948 to Dessie Johnson in Pitkin, LA and passed away April 21, 2012 in Beaumont. Funeral service will take place 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 24 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home officiated by Doctor Stephen Dollar. Interment service will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. A gathering of friends and family will be from 6:00 – 9:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Robert was a longtime resident of Vidor, served his country in the US Army and was employed in the machine shop of Western of Texas Forge and Flange Company.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Chris and wife, Kristin of Mauriceville and Brandon and wife, Diana of Vidor; his daughter, Teffney Andrews and husband Nick of Vidor; 6 grandchildren; his sister, Yvonne Heilmann of Beaumont and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.
