Robert Swinburn

Robert "Bobby" Swinburn, 62, a longtime resident of Orange died April 8, 2009 from complications following an automobile/bicycle accident that occurred January 16, 2009.

Bobby is survived by his parents, William and Marjorie Swinburn of Orange; brothers, David and his wife Gina of Vinton, LA and Jay of West Orange; and his sister, Loretta "Lori" Dawson of Las Vegas, NV.

He is also survived by his nephew, Jeromy Lormand of Las Vegas, NV; and nieces, Chastity and Nia Swinburn of Vinton, LA, and Melanie Swinburn of Oregon.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009, from 3:00-6:00 p.m., at the family residence, 5116 Westmore Ave, Orange, Texas.

Bobby was an avid collector of clocks and watches. He could be seen daily riding his bicycle to and from work at the Orange County Association for retarded citizens OCARC where he worked as an engraver for over 47 years.

Bobby was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints LDS. He will be missed by all who knew, worked with and loved him.

The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the doctors and nurses at Hermann Hospital Shock-Trauma unit in Houston, San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, Triumph Long-term Acute Center in Baytown, Harbour LTAC in Orange and St. Elizabeth's Hospital ER in Beaumont.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by the family to help with medical expenses.

To PawPaw Bill, MawMaw Marg, David, Loretta, and Jay. I am saddened by the loss of Bobby. He will be miss dearly. Growing up I have so many memories of him. Him mowing the yard, coming over to see what Dadddy was doing. Laughing and talking. I want ##imported-begin##Sharon Kay##imported-end##
