Robert Eugene Haynes, 81, of Orange, Texas died Saturday, October 30, 2010, at his residence.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Kevin Trinkle.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 12, 1929, Robert was the son of Edna Gray and E.W. Haynes. He worked as a supervisor at DuPont, and served in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Gevena Haynes of Orange; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sandy Haynes of Orangefield; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Todd Reno of Orange; 2 grandchildren, Hillary Haynes of Orangefield and Connor Reno of Orange; and brother, Jordan Haynes of Helena, Montana.
