Rodney L. Lamb, 71, of Bridge City, Texas, died February 26, 2009, in Port Arthur, Texas.

Memorial service will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Jack Comer of Circle Drive Baptist Church in Bridge City.

Rodney was born in Harbor Beach, Michigan on March 24, 1937, the son of Joseph Loren and Lois Hockner Lamb.

He was a member of the Merchant Marines for twenty-two years and also a member of the Lionel Train Club in Detroit, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roger Lamb and Curt Lamb.

Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Mary Jo Lamb; son and daughter-in-law, Andy & Nelida Lamb of Lake Jackson, TX; step-sons; Bruce Willingham, Brian Willingham, Bobby Willingham and Darren Willingham; grandchildren, Andrew Lamb and Morgan Lamb, David, Danielle, Derrick, Kristin, Kara, Keith, Andrew, Sienna and Abby Willingham; and great granddaughter, Alexia Willingham.

Rodney, my dear father in law, I will never forget how you always made me laugh when we visited with you. Your sense of humor was like no other.
