Rodney Quentin Tindel, 61, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on August 14, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Guests are welcome to visit with the family starting at 1:00 p.m.
Born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on June 25, 1963, he was the son of Quentin and Joyce Tindel. Since a young age and to his very last days, Rodney was a jokester. He had a big personality and always strived to make other’s smile. He was a goofball, and got a kick out of teasing his family, who were his number one priority. Rodney was a simple man, practical, and always honest. You could nearly always find him outdoors – camping, playing ball, or around a fire. He was the best husband, father, and grandpa you could ask for and is going to be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cassandra Rogers; and his brothers, Stephen Baldwin and Donald Baldwin
He is survived by his wife Penny Tindel; sons, K.C. Rogers and wife Casey of Sour Lake, TX, & Steven Rogers and wife Sunni of Las Vegas, NV; as well as his favorites- his grandchildren, Katelyn, Landon, Karli, Brynn, and Gabriella, as well as numerous other cherished family and friends.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Beaumont.
