Roger Dale Ply, Sr., 54, of Orange passed away Monday, August 11, 2008, at his residence.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Steve Neal, pastor of In His Steps Church in Orange will officiate.

Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be 5:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.

Roger was born October 25, 1953 in West Monroe, Louisiana to Odell and Hazel Morris Ply.

He was preceded in death by his son Calvin Ply.

He is survived by his wife Karen Ply of Orange; his children, Roger Ply, Jr. and wife Crystal of Bridge City, Franklin Ply and wife Jennifer, Brandy Ply, Miranda Neal and husband Bubba, Jason Ply and wife Chrissy, Justin Ply and wife Cecilia, all of Orange and Cynthia R. McGlaughlyn of Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren; sisters, Jeannette Collins and Sue Durio both of Welsh, LA and Patricia Green of W. Monroe, LA.
