Rohnny Lee Barton, 42 of Fannett, Texas, along with his identical twin brother Johnny, departed this world on Monday, October 21, 2013 in a tragic accident on IH-10.
Rohnny leaves behind so many friends and family who loved him dearly. Rohnny is the son of Vickie Metcalf of Joaquin, Texas, and Johnny and Loretta Barton of Orange, Texas. He leaves behind a wife, Cynthia Thibodeaux Barton of Fannett, Texas.
He is survived by his son Rohnny Lee Barton, Jr. 22 of Bay City, Texas, (who will soon be serving our country): two step-sons, Jason Lanier, 30, of Groves, Texas, and Justin Lanier, 27 of Homeland, California, and granddaughter Taylor Lanier, 4, of Port Neches, Texas. His brothers are Jason Bendo and wife, Rita of Little Cypress Mauriceville, and Johnny Ray Bendo and his girlfriend, Kristy Gautreaux of Little Cypress Mauriceville, and a niece Amy Bendo.
His aunts and uncles are Barbara and Kenneth Menard of Orange, and Barbara and Kenneth Bohannon of Joaquin, Texas. His sister-in-law is Marian Bellanger and husband Elwin of Fannett, Texas. His cousins are David and Angela Barton of Timpson, Texas, Shannon Thompson of Center, Texas, and Robyn Guy of Georgia. His other nieces and nephews are Deanna Taylor Cannatella of Fannett; Todd Bellanger and wife Marcy of Hamshire; Darren Taylor and wife Judy of Port Neches; and Brian Bellanger and wife Jennifer of Houston. His great nieces and nephews are Haley Bellanger, Cross Cannatella, Logan Bellanger, Brock Taylor, Caiss Cannatella, Jillian Taylor and Hagan Bellanger.
Services will be Saturday morning, October 26, at 10am at Procter Baptist Church, 4401 Jimmy Johnson Boulevard, Port Arthur, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Cynthia Thibodeaux Barton, Rohnny’s wife, to assist with living and burial costs. All donations would be greatly appreciated.
