Ronald Joseph Stueber

1941 ∼ 2016

A memorial gathering of family and friends honoring the life of Ronald Joseph “Ron” Stueber, 74, of Beaumont will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 4-7:00 pm at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

Ron was born June 7, 1941 in New Ulm, Minnesota to the late Herbert Joseph and Virginia (Weidl) Stueber and passed away February 17, 2016 in Beaumont. Ron was a graduate of St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota where he majored in math and German and minored in physical education. While living in New Elm, he worked for many years as a teacher and coach.

Upon moving to Beaumont, Ron worked and retired as a manager for Eckerd Drugs and was a member of St. Anthony Basilica. Ron thoroughly enjoyed golfing and playing bridge and was a member of the Beaumont Bridge Studio.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Stueber of Beaumont; sons, David Stueber of Beaumont, Daniel Stueber and wife, Lainie, of Vernon Hills, Illinois; daughter, Karen Griego and husband, Ron of Thonrnton, Colorado; four grandchildren, Alexandria Stueber, Haley Stueber, Andrew Glover, Hayden Glover; and sister, Joanne Portner and husband, Richard of Lafayette, Minnesota.
