Ronnie Selman, 9, of Orange, passed away Friday, July 24, 2009 at his home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Old First Orange Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Officiating will be Reverend Bailey Harris, Pastor Emeritus, Reverend Bobby Spross, and Youth Pastor Nick Sorrell.

Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Ronnie was born on March 30, 2000 in Sugarland, TX. He is the son of Dean, Jr. and Janice

Summerlin Selman. Ronnie was going into the fourth grade at Orangefield Elementary School and was very involved in Church at Old First Orange Baptist. He enjoyed baseball and watching wrestling on T.V. Ronnie was very gentle, loving, and was very close to his brothers, sisters, and Dad.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Dean Selman of Orange and Janice Summerlin Selman of Springfield, MO; grandparents, Ronnie and Patsy Reese of Orange and David and Linda Shaw of Bossier City, LA; brothers, Dean "Bubba" Selman III and Dustin Selman; and sisters, Meagan Selman and Morgan Selman.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Lippert, Dusty Calhoun, Wynn Reese, Horton McCabe, Ronnie McKay, and J.D. Quarles.

Honorary pallbearers will be the children's department at Old First Orange Baptist Church
