Rosalie Christine Gentry

Rosalie Christine Gentry, 71, of Orange, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur.

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 30, 1940, Rosalie was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Edward Olsen. Rosalie settled in Orange in 1968, where she was a well-respected member of the community. She served in the U.S. Amy during the Korean War, was a lifelong member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.

Preceded in death by her husband, John W. Gentry and brother, Christian Edward Olsen, Jr., Rosalie is survived by her mother, sister, Sherry Olsen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.
