Rowena Mae LeBoeuf

1924 ∼ 2015

Rowena Mae Vincent LeBoeuf, 90, a 57 year resident of Orange, Texas, an 8 year resident of Beaumont, and resident at The Waterford of Deer Park since 2011; loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-greatmother went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 29, 2015. Rowena was born on July 14, 1924 in Delcambre, Louisiana to Bernard Vincent and Lucille Rodriguez Vincent.

Rowena is preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Steve, and devoted and much loved husband of almost 63 years, Roland. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Grisham and husband Bobby of Nassau Bay, Texas; Debbie Williamson of Beaumont, Texas; grandchildren Wade Chandler and wife Marla of Deer Park, Texas; Darren Chandler and wife Tracie of Seabrook, Texas; Stephen Williamson and wife Amy of Austin, Texas; Heather Tolin and husband John of Round Rock, Texas; and Mike Williamson and wife Erin of Beaumont, Texas; cherished great-grandchildren Dakota, Dillon, Sarah, Caitlin, and Caroline Chandler, and Miles, Evie, Benedict, and Blaise Tolin; sisters Rosemary McClelland and husband Jim of Mauriceville, Texas; and Rosella Shelton and husband Glenn of Conroe, Texas; and many special cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Rowena enjoyed her role as a loving mother, and was very devoted and supportive of her husband of 63 years. Upon his retirement they spent many years together enjoying their hobbies of square dancing and traveling around the country, enjoying and seeing all but the state of Alaska in their travels. Their years involved with their hobbies provided them an opportunity to meet and maintain many great friendships throughout the years.

Rowena and Roland were devout members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Orange, later at St. Anne’s in Beaumont, Texas, and continued her connection with her faith with St, Hyacinth Catholic Church when moving to Deer Park, Texas. Rowena will lovingly be remembered as a sweet and caring person, who was never judgmental, intently listened always to others, and loved her children and grandchildren unconditioningly. She especially enjoyed the past few years being able to spend more time with family, especially her great-grandchildren of whom she was so very proud. They provided immense comfort and friendship to her. Her family’s hope now for her is that she is finally reunited with her soul mate and they are happily traveling the universe together. We here will miss this sweet soul who is now in God’s hands but will be FOREVER in our hearts.

I AM SO SORRY to hear about the loss of your mother. Rowena was a very good friend of mine and Reds family. We squared dance with them for many years. I kept up with her until She moved to Deer Park. I did not have her lastest address. We all loved Her and Joe. Love and Prayers. Gertrude Bellair and Family
