Ruby F. McDonald, 85, of Orange, died Thursday, January 31, 2008, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with burial following at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at the funeral home.

Born in Orange on September 23, 1922, she was the daughter of John and Felicia Breaux Judice.

She and her husband were owners and operators of local restaurants and concessions. They were also members of the former St. John United Methodist Church in West Orange.

Preceded in death by her husband, Roy Maxie McDonald, she is survived by her children, Wayne McDonald of Orange, daughter, Nan Meharg and her husband, Claude, of LaPorte, Ronnie McDonald and his wife, Shirley, of Bartlett, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lyric McDonald, Jake and Neil Meharg; and brother, Jay Judice of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
