Ruby Walton Gypins Ryder

Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother. She took the time to give love and attention to all her children and grandchildren. She loved gardening and had such joy seeing God's miracles when her plants and vegetables grew. Each of us has special memories of her which we will treasure. We will miss you but will meet again in God's heaven. Ruby Walton Gypins Ryder died, Sunday, December 13, 2009

She was born in Fullerton, LA, October 15, 1919 and has lived in Beaumont since 1934. Mrs. Ryder was a member of First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by husbands Otis R. Gypins and O. Kenneth Ryder; and son, Michael Chris Gypins. Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Gypins Ducote and husband, Al, of Beaumont; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Cox, and brother, Herman Walton.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Peggy, I am so sorry to hear that your mother passed away. She was a good Christian and Mother, and I know you loved her very much.
