Funeral services for Ruth Johnson, 60, of Vidor, will be held, Saturday, October 13, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Hayman Cemetery in Coldspring, TX. A gathering of friends and family will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12.

Mrs. Johnson was born July 31, 1947 in Atlanta, TX to Thomas and Anniejo Seagroves and passed away October 8, 2007 in Beaumont.

She was a private sitter and loved to sew, quilt and craft. She loved her family and was known as a good friend to many.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 25 years, Johnny Johnson, daughter Kimberly Hamilton and husband Todd of Ft. Worth, son, Jeffery Watkins and wife Jennifer of Beaumont, daughter, Melody Watkins of Vidor, five grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.
