Ruth Mattox Cash, 78, of Mauriceville passed away September 8, 2007 at her residence.
Ruth was born March 30, 1929 in Ruliff, Texas to William and Lenora Peveto Mattox. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Cash and son, Jason Lee Cash.
Ruth was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister.
Those who are left to mourn her passing and rejoice in her life, are her daughters, Bonnie and husband Jack Bryant of Broaddus, TX, Sue and Jack Ingle of Vidor, and Vicki Smith of Beaumont. She had 6 Grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Doris Hart and Husband Peck of Jones Boro, Arkansas, Jane Matthews and Husband Jerry of Athens, TX and Two brothers, Dub Mattox and wife Helen of Gist, Jimmy Mattox and wife Linda of Mauriceville.
The Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday at Claybar Funeral Home.
Mom, was a treasure to all who knew and loved her, from her spotless house to her famous pound cakes to all the hugs that were always given every time you saw her.
Our hearts are sad, but heaven is rejoicing.
Ruthie, Leroy and Jason are all together again.
