This world has lost a precious gem. I know her spirit will enhance Heaven! Mrs Shellenberger will live forever in many peoples hearts and minds, including myself, for the rest of my life. Her sweet smile, gentle ways, and encouragement had so much impact on my life.

What a lady! I am privileged to have known Mrs. Shellenberger at a teacher, and years later, to have reconnected at church. Everyone at Calder Baptist Church cherished her! She always had a smile and a witty comment. So smart! So beautiful, inside and out. Her birthday is only a few days before my mother's, and I will remember it each year, and how grateful I was to have been her friend. Pat Butler Dyson

Rex and Ruth welcomed my family to SE Texas over 25 years ago and made us welcome. To this day our database history files at the Lutcher are still referred to as the "Rex" files. Mrs. Shellenberger often told me how proud Rex was of his work in capturing numbers for the theater. They are fondly and often remembered here at the theater. Jim Clark

When I think of Mrs. Shellenberger I will always remember her sweet, soft manner of speaking. She always made you feel like she was so happy to see you. She never seemed as though her life was hectic or that she did not have the time to spend with you. What a special lady you had for a mother and a grandmother. I know she will be missed.
