I know Mrs. Wilson loved fig preserves. I met her in HEB one day and she was looking for fig preserves and they had some mushy stuff in a jar that they called fig preserves and she and I decided that was not the real thing. I told her that I lived in East Texas (Near Hemphill) and that I would bring her some real fig preserves soon and I did bring them to her for 3 or 4 years when we had them. Our trees didn't do well for a couple of years and I never did take her any more. I always thought about her and wondered if she was still living in that nice retirement home. She told me that she shared her figs with her lady friends in the retirement home. She was a wonderful lady to visit with and I enjoyed the little time that I knew her. Joanne McBride Milam, TX

Ms Becky and family - So saddened by the passing of Ms Wilson. She and my Mom celebrated the exact same bday. Thankful for God giving them both 97 years of life. Will miss the annual dual sharing of Bday wishes each year. May you find peace and comfort in her Creator and giver of life. Know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you folks dearly.
