Just a note to say that I know that Ruth had a STRONG and VIBRANT love for her family. I am so extremely blessed to be friends with Bette and Mike Turner. It is through my dear friend, Bette, that I recognize the amazing bond that Ruth had for her loved ones. Because of Ruth's guidance and strong love for "family", the tradition of love and leadership is passed on to another generation. You have been an amazing role model, Ruth, for your family and many of us have heard about your ever present wit which has kept your friends and family "on their toes!" Bravo, Ruth!! Well done, indeed!

I did not know Ruth, but I would like to extend my condolences to her family and friends. Death of a loved one is never easy for us to overcome. However, God promises us that all those in the grave with come out. (John 5:28,29) That includes Ruth. When on earth, Jesus likened death to sleep. (John 11-14) Just like a person can be awakened from sleep, a person can be awakened from death by means of God's Kingdom of which Jesus Christ is king.
