Samuel E. Parker, 59, was born May 23, 1952 to Reverend Wiley T. Parker and Martha L.M. Moses Parker in Beaumont, TX and passed away February 23, 2012. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Sabine Tabernacle. A gathering of friends and family will be from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, February 24 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

Samuel served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War Era. He was employed at BASF in factory operations.

Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Debbie Parker; his mother, Martha L.M. Parker; sons David Parker, Michael Parker and his wife, Melissa, Matthew Parker, Joshua Parker and his fiancée, Jessica Sedtal, Nathanael Parker, and Benjamin Parker; two grandsons, Sammy and Brayden; sisters, Deborah Carker and husband Richard, Priscilla Parker and numerous nieces and nephews. Samuel was preceded in death by his father; grandson, Joshua Earl Parker Jr. and sister, Martha Cheryl Workman.
