Sandra Suzzanne Lanier, 67, of Orange, TX died Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont due to a brief illness.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, with Reverend Jeff Bell officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory in Bridge City.

Born in Orange, on November 22, 1942, Sandra was the daughter of Sammie and Ruby Wright Spector.

She was a member of Cove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 50 years, Willard Lanier of Orange; brothers and their wives, Willie Joe and Patsy Spector of Orange and James and Rose Spector of Vidor; sister and her husband, Mollie and Rick Jones of Houston; brother-in-law and his wife, Rodney and Kathy Lanier of Orange; and numerous nieces and nephews.
