Sara Jane Myers, 89, of Beaumont, passed away May 23, 2011.

Mrs. Myers was born September 21, 1921 to Luther and Norma Renfro Fuller in Beaumont, Texas. Mrs. Myers was a cashier at Fuller?s Cafe, a business her family owned, until it closed. She volunteered at St. Elizabeth Hospital for 35 years. She enjoyed cooking and playing bridge. In the 1950?s, Mrs. Myers and her husband, Lee Roy Myers Sr, began going to the beach. They both soon found a love for it and spent nearly every weekend at the beach.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 26 Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 25th from 5:00 ? 8:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

Mrs. Myers is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Lee Roy Myers Jr. and wife, Cheryl, of Bevil Oaks and Jeff Scott Myers and his wife, Marla, of Orange; grandchildren, Sarah Brewer and Allison and Sam Myers; and sister, Ruth Ellis.
