Sara Jane "Maggie" Magliolo Brossette, 70, of Orange, died Monday, January 18, 2010, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010, at 9th & Elm Church of Christ in Orange, with the eulogy to be given by Elaine Denman. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Beaumont, Texas on April 20, 1939, Sara Jane was the daughter of Charles and Concetta Fertitta Magliolo. She was a member of 9th & Elm Church of Christ and an avid bridge player.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Sara Jane is survived by her husband of 47 years, Arthur Brossette of Orange; daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Steven Dorsett of Lumberton; daughter, Julie Sheppard of Orange; and daughter and son-in-law, Suzy and Mike Smith of Houston.

Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jonathon Sheppard, Amber Brock, Kurt Sheppard, Cody Rollins, Jennifer Sheppard, Sean Smith, Sarah Smith and Rachel Smith; and brothers and sister-in-law, John Magliolo and Charles and Johnnie Magliolo.
