Sebe Brown

Sebe Brown, 88, of Orange, died October 18, 2009, at Harbor Hospice in Orange.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Chaplin Kevin Trinkle of Baptist Hospital in Orange.

A 3:00 p.m. graveside service will follow at Ajax Cemetery in Ajax, Louisiana.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Sebe was born on June 19, 1921, in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. He was the son of John Brown and Martha Cole Brown. Sebe served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from Entex after 38 years. He also loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Imogene Brown of Orange; sister and brother, Clotine Brown and Travis Brown both of Shreveport, Louisiana; sisters-in-law, Maebell Brown of Ajax, Louisiana and Maxann Brown of Shreveport, Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers will be nephews, Ray Brown, Gary Brown, Alan Brown, J.P. Kornegay, Sebe Anthony Brown, Kyle Rush and Jay Ingram.

The family wishes to thank the nurses at Harbor Hospice, Baptist Hospital and Special Care Giver, Annette Shaw.

The Pring family would like to extend out deepest sympathy to Mr. Brown's family. He was a delightful man and always smiled to everyone.
