Funeral services for Sharon Virginia Young, 47 of Beaumont will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sabine Tabernacle with Reverend Clarence Day and Reverend James Boykin officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sharon was born July 2, 1968 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Lonnie D. and Evelyn Virginia (Ford) Walston and went to be with her Lord on February 12, 2016. A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Sharon was a homemaker and member of Sabine Tabernacle.

Sharon was a selfless person, always putting others first. She was such a woman of Faith. She brought so much joy to our family, always smiling no matter the circumstances. She was fun-loving and could always make us laugh. She loved being surrounded by family and friends and reminiscing about fond family memories. She was loving, caring, warm, courageous and strong in every sense of the word. She loved her Lord, family and friends and was always more concerned for others than herself. She never complained despite the challenges she faced. She will be greatly missed and loved always.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Young; son, Alan Robert Young; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Wade Prince, Joyce and Bobby Towne and Carolyn and Chris Haskett.

II Timothy 4:7-8 – I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith; henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.
