Sharron Rollins, 72, of Lumberton, Texas, passed away on March 15, 2019, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2019, at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery.

Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Born on November 27, 1946, she was the daughter of Vernon Rachal and Ruby (Norwood) Rachal. She enjoyed cooking and listening to all types of music. Sharron loved Pomeranians and dog shows. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Ruby Rachal; and her daughter, Lea Tate.

Sharron is survived by her loving husband, Ron Rollins; son, John Bennett; grandchildren, Dalton Bennett, Drew Bennett, and Sterling Tate; siblings, Glenna Baskin and Denise Nichols; along with numerous other loving family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dalton Bennett, Drew Bennett, Buddy Duhon, Paul Duhon, Edward Campbell, and Eddie Campbell.

So very many memories of my dear friend! Such a sharp wit and always on board for having fun. She was telling me a few years ago about our mutual friend Ann, who lived close to the Rachal's, would sneak out of her house and night and come throw pebbles at Sharron's window, so she would wake up and join her. There was only one problem, Ann chose Sharron's dad's window to throw pebbles at! Of course, at that point everyone got in trouble!! Then there was our senior trip to Galveston! Sharron being so fair was sternly warned by her mom to NOT get sunburned. So as we looked down the beach here comes this "mummy", all wrapped in towels from neck to toe with a giant sombrero on! No one else in our world could have pulled that off with nothing but sarcastic humor!! There were a million memories of high school and all the things we managed to get into, it was all good clean fun, with fun being the key word. The world is going to miss Sharron and I can't imagine another ever being able to have her personality and sarcasm! Go rest high up on that mountain, my Friend, your work on earth is done.
