Shawn T. Garrett, 32, of Orange, died, Friday, May 25, 2007, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Orange.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Reverend Randy Branch of Faith United Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be 5:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Shawn was born January 5, 1975, in Orange to Jackie Ray and Toshiko Asanuma Garrett.

Shawn has been a lifelong resident of Orange. He graduated from West Orange Stark and was employed by I.T.W. in Mauriceville.

Shawn will be missed for his constant comedic antics. He loved fishing, sports, his animals and most of all his family!

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Pat Garrett and Setsuko Asanuma of Japan.

Surviving him are his parents, Jackie and Toshi Garrett of Orange, fiancé Cassi Dillard of Orange, grandfather, G. L. ?Red? Garrett of Orange, sister, Trisha Garrett of Orange, aunts and uncles, Dalton and Dot Murphy of Orange, Mike and Sandra Garrett of Orange, Beth Rach of Orange and Ikuko Ashikawa of Tokyo, Japan and many cousins and extended family members.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jamison Smith, Jeremy Block, Chad Stroud, Michael Todd Garrett, Bryan Garrett, Cole Aaron, Jesse Mendez, Michael Lowe, Maxie Kay and Gerald Rach.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Birmingham, Blake Garrett, Dylan Garrett, Gavin Garrett, Chase Beneau, Allison Le, Carly Garrett, Jo Alford and Larry LeBlanc.

LETS SEE WHERE DO WE START, SHAWN WAS A GREAT GUY WHO WE KNEW FOR MANY YEARS. HE WAS ALWAYS JOKING AROUND AND ALWAYS WORRIED ABOUT HOW HE LOOKED.HE LOVED HIS LOTION!
