Sherman Lee Jones, 63, of Kirbyville, Texas passed away on June 25, 2019, in Houston, Texas.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Bean Cemetery in Kirbyville.

Born in Jasper, Texas, on March 27, 1956, he was the son of Arthur Jones and Laura Mae (Holton) Jones. Sherman loved antique cars and gospel music. He was a loving and kind uncle and took care of everyone he met. Sherman was a good Christian man who loved God and had unwavering faith. He will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Laura Jones; sister, Melda Frances Jones; and brothers, Robert Ray Jones and Luther Glen Jones.

He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Jeanette Harrell; brothers, Lucas Ray Jones, Monroe Nathan Lakey; nieces, Norma Bennington and Melissa McDonald; uncle and aunt, Ojust and Martha Clement; along with numerous other nieces and nephews.
