Shirley Jane Lee, 85, of China, Texas was born Nov. 8, 1931 in Tampa, Florida and passed away on July 1, 2017 at Harbor Hospice.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Interment will follow in the China Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lee was a homemaker and had resided in China for the past 17 years. She was a former resident of Groves and a member of Christ Community Church.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa Moneypenny and husband, Gary, Jennifer Jannise and husband Nathan; son, Robert Lane Lee; 2 grandchildren, Brittany Jannise Weldon and husband Sean, Jeremy Jannise; and one brother, Fendol Chiles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fendol Chiles and Margaret Chiles Cram; brother, John Chiles Sr., and sister, Margaret “Margie” McBride.
