Soule Erwin Cotten

Soule E. Cotten, of Orange, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Orange Baptist Hospital.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Hollywood Cemetery in McComb, Mississippi.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born April 13, 1922 in McComb, Mississippi. He was the son of Amile and Leila Cotten.

Soule was employed for 29 years by DuPont and worked in areas of Wilmington, Delaware and Orange, Texas.

He served in the European Theater during World War II and was recalled during the Korean War.

He was a Mason and 50 year member of McComb City Lodge No. 0382. He was also an Amateur Radio Operator. He graduated from LSU with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

He is survived by his wife Catherine Cotten, children Charles and his wife Sharon, John, and Michael and his wife Jeane. He also had three grandchildren; Jason and Katelynn Cotten and Samantha Cotten.

Well Charlie we’ve shared many occasions together. Some fun, some not so fun. This is one of those things that is not so fun. Only GOD knows when it’s time to be called home and some day he will be calling us so we can rekindle our relation##imported-begin##Wayne Collins##imported-end##
